And the frosty weather continues...Beautiful mornings of sparkle and ice, wonderful clear calm days...but nothing much to do for work horses! We hadn't made a start with the fire wood yet, so there's no logging to do (yet). And everything else is frozen solid! The manure pile looks very pretty with ice crystals on every hump and bump, the field is under a blanket of thin snow, and the roads are covered with a sheet of ice...the mile down to the main road anyway. So the horses enjoy the easy life, hanging out in the mid-day sun, munching hay, dreaming of all that hard work that can't be done because of the frost...
