The British Horse Loggers are organising a major festival of working horses - the first event of its kind in Britain.
The initial date was September 2012, but the date has now be changed to the weekend of the 6th, 7th and 8th July 2012.
The Festival will be hosted by one of the UK's premier agricultural events, The East of England Show at Peterborough. It will feature horses working in forestry, agriculture, horticulture, vines and orchards, the towns, tourism and leisure.
For the third time, we will be at the Agricultural Show at the Airfield near Bantry/West Cork, representing the Irish Working Horse Association and presenting our working horses in harness and working horse equipment.
Anybody is welcome to come along, meet our horses and find out about working horses in Ireland and the Working Horse Association, and meet members and like-minded people.
There will be teas and coffees and straw bales to sit on for a rest from walking one of the most picturesque showgrounds in Ireland!
