So it was Winnie's turn to help us sort things out. More trees were taken down in the process, and after Winnie shifting them off the driveway, we now have a good lot waiting in the field, ready to be chopped into firewood.
A while before the winds turned us busy, it was time for a trip to North County Cork, to a meeting with the Irish Working Horse Association committee. And because that was so close to where Flora lives at the moment, of course, I had to call in! She definitely is on top of things! Chubby and fluffy in her winter coat, she has things under her control around the hay stack and amongst the feeding bowls. The other foals watch her with awe...I happily departed and leaving her to enjoy her kindergarten experience for another few weeks.
